AEROSOL GENERATOR 3076
Aerosol Generator Model 3076 is a Collison-type atomizer that generates aerosols of constant particle size in concentrations over 107 particles/cm3. Its nominal aerosol flow rate is 3.0 L/min. Stainless-steel components make it suitable for the specialized applications listed below, in additon to basic aerosol research.
AEROSOL GENERATOR 3079
Aerosol Generator 3079 is a rugged, compact atomizer generates particles in concentrations up to 108 particles/cm3 and offers an adjustable flow rate from 1.0 to 4.2 L/min. A built-in, low-noise compressor provides compressed air, and the atomizer head is made entirely of stainless steel. Operating components are protected by a hood, making this atomizer highly portable and suitable for acceptance tests.
ELECTROSPRAY AEROSOL GENERATOR 3480
The Electrospray Aerosol Generator Model 3480 (EAG) produces high concentrations of monodisperse, submicrometer particles from 2 to 100 nm (initial droplet diameter of 150 nm, nominal). The Electrospray pushes a charged liquid solution or suspension through a capillary tube and exerts an electrical field on the liquid at the capillary tip. The electrical field pulls the liquid from the capillary, forming individual droplets. Air and CO2 mixed with the droplets evaporate the liquid and the remaining particles are neutralized by an ionizer.
FLUIDIZED BED AEROSOL GENERATOR 3400A
The Fluidized Bed Aerosol Generator* 3400A (FBAG) is our general-purpose powder disperser. It prepares any dry, free-flowing powder for dispersion in a gas. The FBAG disperses powders over a size range from 0.5 to 40 µm, in concentrations from 10 to 100 mg/m3. A key feature of this aerosol generator is its stable output and concentration.
LARGE PARTICLE AEROSOL GENERATOR 8108
Designed primarily for filter testing, the Large Particle Aerosol Generator 8108 produces highly concentrated aerosol in a broad particle-size range, from 0.1 to 10 µm in diameter. It produces potassium chloride (KCl) or other aerosols, and it meets the requirements of the proposed SAE J1669, ISO/CD 11155-1, and ASHRAE 52.2 test codes.
