Analyzers, Laboratory, Radioimmunoassay, Manual

Definition : Radioimmunoassay analyzers that require the human manipulative effort (e.g., manual insertion of reagents and samples) in all steps of each test, including manual pipetting, control of incubation, separation, and counting. These tests are usually performed using manufacturer's kits, which include the unlabeled and radioactively labeled ligands, the binder, and the calibration standards. Most current manual radioimmunoassay analyzers include computerized data-processing (data reduction) devices.
