Menstrual Belts

Definition : Narrow belts designed to keep sanitary (i.e., menstruation) napkins or pads in the appropriate place. These devices typically consist of a narrow, frequently elastic, belt that encircles the woman's pelvis. The belt usually includes a pouch to keep the sanitary napkin or pad and metal and/or plastic hooks in the front and back to hold the sanitary napkins in place. Sanitary menstruation belts are intended for use during the menstruation period.
