Definition : Aprons designed to prevent the development of an electrostatic charge by providing a path of low impedance to the user from accidental contact with energized electrical equipment and lines. They are usually made of reinforced rubber, thermoplastic polymers, or elastomer with adjustable straps and non-metallic buckles. Conductive aprons are usually long enough to cover the front or to wrap around both the front and back of the person wearing it.
