Condensers, Dental, Endodontic Filling Material, Powered, Heated

Definition : Powered dental condensers designed to pack filling materials into root canals at a pre-determined high temperature. These condensers typically consist of a powered unit that can heat and control the temperature of detachable applicators (i.e., obturators) after the applicators are placed inside a prepared root canal. Heated powered dental condensers can be used for vertical or horizontal (lateral) condensation of root canal (endodontic) fillings such as gutta-percha.
