Defibrillators, External, Manual, Line-Powered-Only

Definition : Manual external defibrillators that only operate from line power. Most of these devices are movable, usually on a cart, but their use is limited by the availability of line power, so they cannot be used during patient transport in the hospital or in emergency vehicles. Line-powered defibrillators are typically used in locations where nonambulatory patients are being continuously monitored (e.g., intensive care, emergency rooms).

Entry Terms : "Defibrillator/Monitors, Line-Powered" , "Defibrillators, Line-Powered"
