Definition : Clinical chemistry reagents intended to perform qualitative and/or quantitative chemical analyses of body fluids (typically serum) to determine the level of the enzyme cholinesterase. Cholinesterase levels in serum are used to detect organophosphate poisoning and evaluate liver function.
