Reagents, Clinical Chemistry, Enzyme, Glutamate Dehydrogenase
Definition : Clinical chemistry reagents intended to perform qualitative and/or quantitative chemical analyses of body fluids (typically serum) to determine the level of the enzyme glutamate dehydrogenase (GLD). GLD in serum typically increases in all liver-damaging diseases, such as chronic hepatitis; it also increases in response to hepatotoxic agents.
