Environmental Control Units

Definition : Equipment designed to control the environmental characteristics of a closed space. This equipment usually includes a heat exchange unit, a control panel, heating devices, filters, and a compressor. Environmental control units are used to regulate the temperature and humidity and also to reduce (i.e., filter out) airborne particles in the environment. Some environmental control units include special filters to eliminate bacteria.
